The arms are Gules an apple Or leaved Argent and garnished Sable under a heraldic fountain, both between two wheat ears Or their stems crossed per saltire and tied Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "FONTE LONGA - CARRAZEDA DE ANSIÃES".
The arms are partly canting, as the heraldic fountain represents "fonte" in the village name - this can also be spelled jointly, as Fontelonga.
