No Flag

It appears Vanegas does not use a municipal flag.

Coat of Arms

image from vanegas-slp.gob.mx

The council informed me they could not find anything about the adoption of the coat of arms from recent years. The coat of arms is clearly inspired by the state's coat of arms, having a golden border. In the center is a frame, with the text VANEGAS over it; the frame is composed of four quadrants. The upper-left quadrant depicts a goat for its ranching industry. The upper-right quadrant depicts the Sacred Heart of Jesus church. The lower-left section depicts a factory for industry; all three mentioned quadrants have a desert scene. The lower-right section depicts a field of carrots for the agricultural industry.
