Ignalina - field divided per pale blue and white, on the blue field palewise three silver water lily flowers with golden anthers.
Flag proportions 1:1, fringe is silver, finial is a silver tip with two rings and silver bands.
The flag symbolizes the splendid nature of this land of lakes: the town of Ignalina is almost surrounded by lakes, and in the whole district there are 209 lakes.
