Located in Hachioji City Tokyo and established in 1986. The university flag has white background with a navy blue and black emblem. The university emblem was newly adopted following the renaming of the corporation in 1997, when the university celebrated its 50th anniversary. The university emblem is designed to crystallize the image of the research building on the Hachioji campus and three key words beginning with "E" that represent educational content and educational philosophy, which together create boundless energy (Energy) and deep emotion (Emotion). In addition, the three curved lines representing the letter "E" are connected in the back right direction, creating a universe that continues into eternity and infinity (Eternity), while at the same time creating an advanced and intellectual image composed of straight lines.
