Name

Kindai University, known as Kinki Daigaku in Japanese, was founded in 1949 as Kinki University. In 2016, the English name was changed to Kindai (a combination of Kinki and Daigaku). The name was changed for this Osaka Prefecture based university due to a similar erotic term in English. The Japanese name and kanji has not changed. (Source)

Located in Higashi-Osaka City Osaka Prefecture and established in 1943. The university flag has blue background with a white emblem in the center. The school emblem symbolizes the petals of the plum tree, the five petals of which is Chinese character 大university's large, and the core of the flower is also large. The five petals are the size of the university, and the core of the flower is also large. It is also the person itself. The five petals represent 大 of the Kanji 大学University. The flower core also represents the Kanji 大 or Kanji 人 person itself. It will shape the university's present and future existence and position. The fact that some parts of the work are slightly separated from the rest shows the unfinished state of the inner work, which is based on a future-oriented approach. It is pierced by a single strong line.
