Located in Hino City Tokyo and established in 1949. The embroidery ceremonial hanging flag has maroon background with a gold and silver emblem and horizontally written in gold kanji university name in gold fringe. The university flag has reddish purple background with a white emblem in the center. The university emblem with a design of cherry blossoms has been an unbroken tradition since the school's founding. The Imperial Women's Association, the founding body of Jissen Joshi Gakuen and Joshi Craft School, stipulates in its regulations as follows Article 9 of the Imperial Women's Association Regulations: "The emblem of the association shall be a cherry blossom and shall be classified into the following three types. Since then, the school emblem has undergone various transformations over time, but the cherry blossom design has always been carried on. The current emblem of Jissen Women's University and Junior College, with the kanji character "大學" engraved in the center of a cherry blossom, has been in use since around 1949.
