by Jaume Ollé

One of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tokugawa. His first battle was against Takeda Katsuyori in 1576 at Shibahara, Totoumi Province. He defeated Shimazu Toyohisa at the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, made peace with Mouri Terumoto and supported Yamauchi Kazutoyo's entry to Tosa Province. He was given 180,000 goku of the Sawayama Castle in Omi Province for such achievements. The war banner was all red with a red Maneki small streaming flag with white kanji letters 八幡大菩薩 "Hachiman Daibosatsu"as a patron god of warriors. Ii took over the red armor of Takeda's corps, Yamagata Masakage's corps, and filled the battlefield with all-red flags, banners, and armors.
