Nozomi Kariyasu, 22 February 2023

In 1616, he succeeded his father's estate and became lord of Himeji Castle in Harima Province with 420,000 goku. The following year, he was reduced to lord of Tottori Castle in Inaba Province with 325,000 goku due to his infancy. In 1632, he was transferred to the lord of Okayama Castle with 310,000 goku. He was highly respected as a great lord. He devoted himself to the welfare of the people and spread the Bizen style of simplicity. The war banner was 7 black and 6 white horizontal stripes with a white butterfly topped with a black and white Maneki striped small streaming flag. The Ikeda family emblem, a butterfly, is a representative emblem of the Kanmu Heishi clan. It is said that Ikeda Nobuteru of the Bizen Okayama domain was favored by his father, Oda Nobuhide, and received the butterfly emblem while he was working as a partner of Oda Nobunaga.
