The city emblem is a stylized S of Shibushi. The blue color stands for Shibushi Bay, the green color for the earth blessed with an abundant nature and the orange color for the vigorous citizen. It represents an image of the city which is livable and comfortable.
The flag proportion is 2:3. The height of the emblem is 3/5 of the height of the flag.
