On Thursday April 23, Mr. Bora "The Globetrotter" Milutinovič was appointed the Head Coach of the Iraqi National Football Team in order to lead it in the upcoming FIFA 2009 Confederations Cup. During the team's presentation at the Iraqi Football Association Headquarters, this flag could be seen.

Note that the emblem doesn't bear any stars, only the national motto, "God is Almighty." The depiction in the center is the Lion of Babylon, a world-famous statue of a lion trampling a human-like figure located in the Babylon archeological site.
