Overview

The World Taekwondo Federation is the international sporting federation governing the sport of taekwondo. The WTF was established on May 28, 1973 with participation of 35 representatives from the world and until this day there is a total of 205 Member Nations. International Olympic Committee recognized the WTF in 1980. Taekwondo was adopted as a demonstration sport of the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, then taekwondo was adopted as an official sport of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

Flag at the London 2012 Olympics

The protocol manual for the London 2012 Olympics (Flags and Anthems Manual London 2012 [loc12]) provides recommendations for flag designs. Each International Federation and International Paralympics Federation was sent an image of the flag, including the PMS shades, for their approval by LOCOG. Once this was obtained, LOCOG produced a 60 x 90 cm version of the flag for further approval. So, while these specs may not be the official version of each flag, they are certainly what the International Federation and International Paralympics Federation believed the flag to be.
Ian Sumner, 10 October 2012

Last year Ian Sumner made some scans from the flag manual for the London 2012 Olympics (Flags and Anthems Manual London 2012) which provides recommendations for flag designs of international sporting federations.
For World Taekwondo Federation - WTF: PMS 286 blue, PMS 7406 yellow, PMS 200 red, and PMS black.
