First ruler of the present line: Naik Nimbraj I Nimbalkar 1284-1291

"His Highness the Sovereign of the Principality of Phaltan has a flag which is used for state purposes. It is a rectangular bicolor, orange over green."
(It says specifically "orange' not 'saffron')"
