The symbols of Ljubešćica are prescribed by Decision Odluka o opisu i uporabi grba i zastave Općine Ljubešćica, adopted on 1 August 2006 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 16 August 2006 in the County official gazette Službeni vjesnik Varaždinske županije, No. 20.
The symbols are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut Općine Ljubešćica, adopted on 11 March 2013 and published on 12 March 2013 in Službeni vjesnik Varaždinske županije, No. 9 (text).
The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka.
The flag is described in Article 6 of the Statutes as "of a single colour, white. The ratio of width to length of the flag is 1:2. In the centre of the flag, at the crossing point of the diagonals, is the coat of arms of the municipality, on both sides edged with a golden/yellow outline".
The actual flag, as displayed in the Assembly Hall of Varaždin County, does not have a yellow border around the already yellow bordered shield.

Table flag of Ljubešćica - Image by Željko Heimer, 22 August 2014
The table flag (photo) is a variation of the ceremonial flag, as a white triangularly ending vertical flag without the border, with the coat of arms in the centre (also without the border), topped with a black inscription of the municipality name in two lines and the branches below.
The font used and the configuration of the inscription is different from the ceremonial flag; the ornamental branches beneath are somewhat differently oriented.
