The municipality of Pojezerje (1,233 inhabitants in 2001) is located in the northernmost edge of the County, in the northern part of the Neretva valley in the Karst highlands part. This is one of the very few municipalities in Croatia whose name does not match any place in the municipality. The seat of the administration is the village of Otrić-Seoci (657 inh.), formed in 1980 by the merging of the villages of Otrić and Seoce; the other villages are Kobiljaca (241 inh.), Mali Prolog (31 inh.), Pozla Gora (62 inh.), Brečiči (deserted), and Dubrave (deserted).

The coat of arms was designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka, and approved by the Ministry of Administration / Central State Office for Administration before 2006.

The coat of arms is described in Article 5 of the Municipality Statutes as in "Romanesque shield shape", azure a bend wavy argent between a bunch of grapes with a leaf and a fig also with a leaf all or.
The wavy bend refers to the place name, meaning roughly "(the region) around the lakes". The main products of the region are grapes and figs.
