The General Secretariat of Local Administration approved new symbols on 20.03.2025.
Description : "Shield divided and enté en point; 1st, gules, a gold castle, windows and doors azure, consisting of three towers, surmounted by a silhouette representing Sierra Nevada. 2nd, or, two anthropomorphic figures, surmounted by a fleur-de-lis, both sable. 3rd, argent, three roundels gules, two and one. The escutcheon, argent, charged with a pomegranate proper, half-open gules and foliated. Crested with the closed royal crown."
Meaning : The first quarter depicts Cabrera Castle and the magnificent views of the Sierra Nevada mountains, which is why Diezma is known as "The Viewpoint of the Sierra Nevada." The second quarter features the anthropomorphic rock art figures of the Vereda de la Cruz. The roundels in the third quarter appear on the coat of arms of the Marquises of Diezma. The silver escutcheon represents its belonging to the province of Granada.
Description : "Rectangular cloth or flag, in proportions 2:3. Divided horizontally, with the following arrangement: First, green from the lower third of the hoist to the right third of the upper part of the cloth. Second, white from the lower corner of the hoist to the upper corner of the fly. Third, crimson red from the upper third of the fly to the left third of the lower part of the cloth. The municipal coat of arms is superimposed in the center."
