It seems that there is no official flag for the Municipality of Espiel in the Province of Cordoba, Andalusia. However, there are known at least two sets of unofficial symbols in use.
Description: Divided vertically into two equal halves, red at the hoist and white at the fly. In the center, the municipal coat of arms.

Description: On a field of gules, a gold castle, masoned and with black windows. At its feet, a rampant black lion.
Meaning: It represents the town's castle. Previously, it featured an armed arquebusier, but this has now been replaced by a lion.

Although it is said that the version with the black lion is the recent one, recent photos show the flag with the guardian in use; no photo found with black lion.
