Shield Or, a castle Gules with three embattled towers.
Meaning:
In the 14th century the village had the name "ze den hiusirn". It had been one of the oldest dominions of St. Blasien Monastery. A seal from the 19th century displayed three towers between two trees. Tis pattern was simplified but didn't prevail and the former pattern remained in use. Meanwhile other arms had been considered, displaying a typical Black Forest farmhouse. But in 1939 the current pattern was restored. The tinctures are those of Baden.
