Zwiefalten Municipal Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a blue shield are two silver (= white), intertwined annulets. Within its three segements are seven golden (= yellow) 6-point stars, ordered 3:1:3.
Meaning:
The arms are derived from seals from the 19th century. The annulets allude to the name of the municipality, which means "twofold". The stars are taken from the arms of the former Abbey of Zwiefalten.

The banner was approved on 9 March 1982 by the county administration, published in GABl 559/1983. The coat of arms was adopted by the local council on 15 December 1933

Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (= yellow) shield is a red, rampant stag. The upper, sinister corner is divided by a green bendlet superimposed by two golden (= yellow) 6-point-stars.
