Coat of Arms

Shield and chief are parted fir-tree topped into chief Or and a green field charged with two bendlets Argent.
Meaning:
The bendlets are symbolising the highway A7, crossing all Germany from North to South. The fir-tree topped line of partition is symbolising Knüllgebirge, a local forest.
The arms were approved on 23 August 1967
