Kleinwallstadt Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a Roman watch tower Gules, on dexter chief an escutcheon parted per pale and twice per bend sinister of Argent and Sable, on sinister chief an escutcheon Gules charged with a 6-spokes wheel Argent.
Meaning:
The tower is reminding on the Upper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes, which crossed the region between Großwallstadt and Kleinwallstadt alongside the Main River. The tinctures red and silver and the wheel are alluding to the Archbishopric of Mainz, which ruled the area until 1803. The dexter escutcheon displays the arms of the Vocken of Wallstadt kin, whose members had been reeves and vassals of the archbishopric. They built a castle. The local forest remained a property of the kin, after they had sold all other possessions in 1584. The kin died out in 1624.
