Bruckberg Coat of Arms

Shield Azure a griffin rampant Or, crowned of the same and holding an inescutcheon Argent charged with a fess Azure by his forepaws.
The inescutcheon displays the arms of the Lords of Bruckberg, the most important local family from the 12th century until the middle of the 14th century. The griffin is taken from the arms of the Schacky family, which acquired Bruckberg castle in 1826.
