Hausen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a lance issuant Azure in pale, on dexter chief a 6-point star Gules, at sinister Gules an abased saltire Or, issuant from saltire a fir Argent.
The sinister half displays in different tinctures the former arms of Herrnwahlthann, which was incorporated in 1978. The fir (German: Tanne) is a canting element. The saltire is an attribute of St. Andrew, the local patron saint. The star is an attribute of Our Lady of Hausen, being local patron saint of the village. The lance is an attribute of St. George, patron saint of Großmuß, which was also incorporated in 1978.
