Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, an eagle Sable armed Gules, on his breast a golden initial "A".
Meaning:
The local seal from the 18th century displays a single-headed Imperial eagle, which connected with the initial "A" also appeared on boundary stones of the 18th and with an inescutcheon can be found on the plate of the Black Eagle Inn (German: Gasthaus Zum schwarzen Adler), which exists as the domain's inn since 1667. The village belonged to the Imperial Castle of Friedberg until 1806. The "A" is a distinguishing mark.
