Coat of Arms

Shield quartered of Gules and Argent; over all an inescutcheon Vert crowned Or and charged with an intial "W" Or, its centre shaped like a crosslet.
Meaning:
The quartered shield is taken from the arms of the Barons of Boyneburg, but the colours are those of Hesse, the black quarters were replaced by red ones. The initial is alluding to the name giving Wehre creek,
The arms were adopted on 16 November 1981 by the local council.
