Niedere Börde Coat of Arms

Shield Vert, under a porticus Argent a horsehead Or, in base two barrulets wavy Argent contoured Sable.
Meaning:
The porticus is typical for local farmhouses. It is also symbolising the municipality as gateway to the Altmark. The horsehead is a dignification of the workhorses as indispensable supporters of the local farmers in the past. The barrulets wavy are symbolising the Oker River and the Mittelland Canal.

The municipality overtook the symbols of the former namesake administrative community (Verwaltungsgemeinschaft). The symbols were confirmed on 5 July 2004 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Magdeburg.
