Straßberg Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a throughout cross Gules, at sinister Gules a pitcher Argent.
The Adelind cross is taken from the arms of Buchau Abbey and is reminding on the fact that Straßberg had been a fiefdom of the abbey and had been a district under direct administration of the abbey from 1625 to 1803. The pitcher is an attribute St. Verena, the local patron saint.

The arms were approved on 26 June 1950 by Minister of Interior of Württemberg-Hohenzollern. The banner was approved on 17 July 1968 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 136/1969.
