Alleshausen Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, two candles Argent in saltire flamed Or, superimposed by a grain ear Or in pale.
Meaning:
n 1939 there had been a municipal seal, displaying a shield parted per fess into Or and Gules, presented in Petra Sancta Code. The golden part displayed an antler for Württemberg. Due to the beginning of WW2 the corresponding arms had never been approved. The current arms display candles as attributes of St. Blaise, local patron saint of the local chapel since 1479, possession of St. Blasien (=Blaise) Abbey since 1477. The ear is symbolising agriculture.
