Zajedno

ABC TV showed the demonstrations in downtown Belgrade. There was a large flag being held-up and waved back and forth above the crowd. The flag had long proportions (1:3 or 1:4) and was either green or blue (it is hard to tell since it was nightime in the TV scene) with a round emblem of some type in the middle of unknown colors.

This would probably be the flag of the opposition coalition that won the elections in Belgrade. The flag is not quite defined, since I have seen it on several occasions in several colours light blue, green or yellow with the circular emblem. The emblem includes the word "ЗАЈЕДНО".
This is the name of the coalition, and means something like "together". The coalition is made of four parties.

Unidentified flags

A friend has sent me a photo of a flag for identification.
It is a Serbian tricolour, red-blue-white, with a gold fringe on the fly only.
Centered on the blue bar, extending slightly into the red and white is a badge, composed of a red border, edged in white, with a white Cyrillic inscription:

above, С ВЕРОМ У БОГА

below, ЗА КРАЈБА И ОТАЏБИНУ

The field of the badge is red, with a crowned double-headed eagle and Serbian shield on the eagle's breast, all the details in white and red.

Deveraux Cannon, 24 January 1998

The first sentence means something like "With Belief in God".

Jorge Candeias, 27 January 1998

The second sentence means "for the King and Fatherland".

Both are patriotic war mottos of Serbia, which, unfortunately, do not reveal to us the "owner" of this flag.
