Article 4.
The coat of arms of the municipality of Pérola is composed of a shield in Samnite type, horizontally divided by a black line into two unequal fields.
a) Chief
The upper field, represented by a divided rectangle, is described as follows:

The rising sun proper represents the strength of the Brazilian man and the strength of Pérola's people, who renew themselves at each dawn, in search of solutions for the municipality's progress.
2. The left quadrangle, blue, features the Book of the Holy Scriptures, in yellow, bearing the following inscription: on the right sheet, in black capitals, Greek letter alpha, which means "beginning". On the left sheet, Greek letter omega, which means "end". The white wavy stripes that crosses horizontally the shield's lower part symbolizes parts of the the water resources of the municipality of Pérola, represented by rives Xambrê, tributary of the Piquiri and bordering (SE) with the municipality of Iporã, and rivers Porongos and Dourados that originate in the municipality of Pérola and are tributaries of the Xambrê.
The shield's lower field below the horizontal wavy stripe, green, symbolizes the land owned by the Companhia Colonizadora Byington, a company headquartered in São Paulo founded by Alberto Jackson Byington, husband of Pérola Ellis Byington. The company provided services to the government of the state of Paraná, and, among others, in the beginning of the 1950s, colonized the region of the municipality of Peabiru, originating the town of Pérola, today the seat of the municipality.
The field is charged with a yellow bezant that represents Pérola Ellis Byington, co-founder of the town of Pérola. The white wavy stripe, starting from the lower side of the chief and descending obliquely from right to left, ends in the horizontal stripe. It symbolizes another part of the water resources of the municipality of Pérola, represented by rivers Jequitibá, a tributary of the Paracái, bordering (NW) with the municipality of São Jorge do Patrocínio, and Paracaí, a tributary of the Paraná and bordering (N) with the municipality of Umuarama, as well as Ribeirão Palmital that rises in the Municipality of Pérola and flows into the Paracaí.
2. The shield's left field, green, features a black ox, representing the thriving agricultural resources in full expansion in the municipality of Pérola.
3. The shield's right field, yellow, portrays a farmer with a hoe all proper, representing the courage and dedication to work of the people of Pérola, tilling the land and extracting resources for the benefit of the municipality's progress.
