Description of the flag

Bangladesh Scouts was founded in 1972 and took its present name in 1978. The flag used by the scouts is their emblem placed on a green flag. According to Bangladesh scouter Morshedur Rahman Milon, in personal communication with me, the placement of the symbol is the same spot as the red sun on the national flag.
