Description of arms (German): Im roten Schilde, beiderseits von je einer naturfarbenen, nach oben sich verjüngenden Perkufe begleitet, einen nach rechts schreitenden Salzträger in weißer Kleidung, der auf der linken Schulter in einer Holzmulde einen Salzstock trägt, während er mittels eines in der Rechten gehaltenen Stockes die Last unterstützt. Blazoning of arms (English): Gules, between two salt tubs (broader at the base) proper a man vested Argent walking to dexter carrying a salt block in a wooden trough on his sinister shoulder, supporting the load with a stick in his dexter.
Adoption date of arms: 12 November 1931 (based on the historical arms used since the second half of the 13th century)
