Valley Coat of Arms

Shield Or, under a double headed eagle Sable three longbows Azure in pale.
Meaning:
The eagle had been in the inescutcheon of the arms of Count Maximilian Kurz of Senftenau. He became the first Count of Valley. The county was formed by a merger of the districts of Ahamstein, Holzolling and Feldolling. He was succeeded by the Counts of Arco-Valley, whose family arms also displayed the eagle and the bows (Italian: arcos) as well as canting elements.
