Vanuatu Cruising Yacht Club

The Vanuatu Cruising Yacht Club is based in Port Vila; unfortunately, there is not a lot of information I could find about the VCYC besides the design of the burgee. The burgee, at https://www.facebook.com/vanuatuparalympic/photos/2232210056803018/, is a simplified pattern of the national flag with the letters "V.C.Y.C" in a Times New Roman like font, in black, on the central yellow section.

At https://www.vanuatu.travel/en/vanuatu-cruising-yacht-club it tell us:

"The Vanuatu Cruising Yacht Club (VCYC) is located on the front of the property of the Port Vila Boatyard in Pontoon Bay. Local and Foreign visitors are encouraged to come by to join and support the club, sign-up as members and meet up with some of the local yachtsmen and woman and VCYC junior sailors.

The VCYC has recently introduced a Junior sailing division (in 2015) where children (Ni-Vanuatu, resident expat and visiting youth) can learn to sail on RS Tera’s and Lasers. This is done in collaboration with Vanuatu’s only sailing school RS Vanuatu. The aim of the VCYC Junior Sailing program is to develop the sport of sailing in the country for all people to enjoy and to develop a competitive National Sailing Team who will participate in major international competitions."

The pages at https://www.facebook.com/VanuatuCruisingYachtClub show the burgee, and the roads. While they have a link to a club site. Unfortunately this https://vanuatucruisingyachtclub.org appears to be held by someone else (possibly in the hope a yacht club would have money to buy their site back. Some of the Facebook pages do have a minimum of information, but it's largely about the organisation of formal or less formal gatherings.
