Boise State University is located in Boise, Idaho, and is the third largest public institution of tertiary education in the state. In recent years the university has become a major college football power, and it is therefore not surprising that the College Merchandise Company, one of the leading manufacturers of collegiate symbols and emblems in the US, should have developed a flag for Boise State University.
