The flag of Fayetteville appears to be a white field with a double-border of green and yellow. In the middle is what could be the seal of the town. It is a golden disk with "FAYETTEVILLE" on the top of the disk. On the bottom of the disk says "ONE OF AMERICA'S COOLEST TOWNS" which is what the town calls itself. Inside the disk is the Fayette County Courthouse with two bushes next to it. Above the courthouse is a yellow outline of the New River Gorge Bridge.
