The Sherman Township from https://www.facebook.com/mitownships is white with a central banner bearing the name and several scenes from the township. The Facebook posting indicates:

With the Township Board permission and with other input, we developed this flag to celebrate our Sesquicentennial. Note the view is from the South looking North over the lake.

In God We Trust... Honors our founding fathers, which is also used monetarily.

Church and pavilion...represents our little town of Dighton and community celebration.

Trees and deer...denotes we are wildlife oriented.

Farm...Shows our agricultural roots.

Town Hall...Township official business place where various boards meet regularly to accomplish their elected duties. Our Flag is lighted and flown 24/7!

The Loons...Center lake is a viable place for them and the protection they provide.

The Fish...Indicates a healthy environment.

The Cross...Used to show the Bible Camp location.

The 4-H, 4 leaf clover... Kettunen Center

Sherman Township, Osceola County, MI county is required as there are several Sherman townships in Michigan.

Fire Tower...It was an Icon of the township for years. Footings are still there.

Highest Elevation...Lower Michigan highest point, used by picnickers and tourists.

Established 1868...Celebrating 150 years with our own Township flag
