Description

Bon Secours Health System is a non-profit Catholic health system based in Marriottsville, Maryland, that owns or manages 43 hospitals and more than 1,000 assisted living facilities (including hospice and nursing care) in seven states. The system has hospitals in Kentucky, Maryland, New York, and Virginia, and is sponsored by Bon Secours Mercy Ministries. Established more than 150 years ago, Bon Secours Health System is currently the fifth-largest Catholic health care ministry in the United States.

I had an opportunity to view the flag of Bon Secours Health System flying in front of a hospital alongside the American and Virginia flags. The flag features the Bon Secours Health System logo in blue on a white field. Below the logo in blue capital sans serif lettering is the corporate motto: "GOOD HELP TO THOSE IN NEED."
