Navy flag

The flag of the Navy is blue with flag of the People's Defence Force in the canton. A yellow anchor over a scroll is placed in the fly. Inscription is TANZANIA NAVY .

Possible former ensign

The Tanzania Naval Command is the naval branch of the Tanzania People's Defence Force.  It was established in 1971 with assistance from China.
In Jane’s Fighting Ships [jfs], a naval ensign based on that of the British Royal Navy is shown in proportions of 1:2.

I haven't found any pictorial evidence of this flag. My guess is that the flag may have actually been used in the past, but it is no longer used today.
