Flag of Ladik

The flag of Ladik (photo, photo, photo) is white with the municipality's emblem. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality".

The emblem features the clock tower (14 m in height), erected in 1906 by Reşat Akif Paşa (1863-1920), Governor of Sivas (1901-1906), and rebuilt in 1943 in the aftermath of an earthquake.
The emblem's background evokes the Akdağ ski center, located in Ladik, and Lake Ladik, which is located 10 km east of the downtown.

Ladik Akdağ ski center is the only ski center of the Middle Black Sea Region. Akdağ summer and winter sports center is 84 km to Samsun city center, 24 km to Samsun-Ankara highway, 7 km to Ladik town center. Ski run length is 1400 m, Chairlift length is 1360 m. Winter ski is done between 1500-1770 m altitudes. Snow amount reaches to 1 m height between November and March.

The monument featured on the emblem's left part is Sunullah Paşa mausoleum, located in the Bahşi Mahallesi borough of Ladik. There is no historical record of the monument and its namesake, also known as Sadullah Paşa. Built in classical Ottoman style, the monument probably dates back to the second half of the 15th century.
