Presentation of Üzümlü

The municipality of Üzümlü (12;995 inhabitants in 2012, 6,748 in the town of Üzümlü) is located 20 km east of Erzincan.

The flag of Üzümlü (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo) is white with the municipality's emblem. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality".
The grapes (Turkish, üzüm), make the emblem canting.
The Üzümlü district is the most important grape-growing area of the northeastern Anatolian region of Turkey. The common grapevine cultivar of the region is Karaerik, which is desirable in the region and has high market value.
