image located by Valentin Poposki, 27 December 2025Vilegodskiy County became Vilegodskiy Municipal District in 2020. Its coat of arms was adopted on 21.06.1999, and its flag on 04.02.2000.
The flag's green panel features a schematic representation of a river. Near the flagpole, on a yellow vertical stripe occupying one-third of the panel, are three blue flax flowers. The flag's aspect ratio is 3:2.

In a green field, an azure (light blue, blue) thinly bordered with silver, lowered obliquely on the left, wavy belt, burdened with a raft of golden logs, accompanied at the tip obliquely on the left by three azure flax flowers with golden centers, thinly bordered with silver; in the upper left corner, a silver cloud, from which a golden lightning bolt (thunder arrow) emerges into the oblique belt on the left.
