Bureyskiy County in 2020 became Bureyskiy Municipal District, and all 11 municipalities were dissolved. Its coat of arms and flag were adopted on 20.12.2023

On a green field a silver shortened point, accompanied at the top by a silver bar, the lateral edges of which are extended downwards by wedges, the oblique sides inward; the bar and the top of the point are covered with gold eight-pointed stars.
