The shield of the arms is Or, two eradicated chestnut trees Vert set in pale with their burrs Or slit Gules, flanked two sheaves, being of wheat the dexter and of rye the sinister, both Vert tied Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll (Bénard Guedes style) reading in black upper case letters "CELAS - VINHAIS".
