Coat of arms

Shield Argent with base wavy of Vert, Argent and Azure, issuant from base an "upstream boat" (Port.: "barco de rio acima" ) Sable rigged Vert, in chief a throughout metal bridge Sable with three panel sheets Azure. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "DARQUE".
Meaning:
The base wavy is symbolizing the mouth of Lima River.
