Coat of arms

Shield Gules an olive tree eradicated Proper flanked by two crosses patty rounded Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "OLAIA".
Meaning:
The tree is symbolizing agricultural riches, especially the production of olive oil. The crosses are representing the numerous archaeological sites in the commune from times of the Templars.

Olaia Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Torres Novas Municipality (q.v.); it had 1725 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 22.0 km².

Coat of arms

Shield Gules, in base a hill issuant Argent crowned by a tower Or roofed Or, masoned Sable with port and windows Sable, topped by a white flag displaying a coronet Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "PAÇO - TORRES NOVAS".
Meaning:
The whole ensemble is alluding to an ancient palace (Port.: paço), name giver of the commune.
