Coat of arms

Shield Gules with base wavy of Argent and Azure, the barrulet Azure charged with two trouts affronty Argent, a grapevine Or leaved Argent between a half circle of two garlands of laurel Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "ALVAREDO - MELGAÇO".
