Shield Vert, two wheat ears Or in saltire, in chief a fleur-de-lis Argent, in base a pig Or spotted Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "BOA VISTA - LEIRIA".
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis here is symbolising Leiria municipal council. The pig is representing stock breeding, the wheat ears agriculture as most important business line. The green colour is representing the floral riches of the commune. Please note that Sérgio Horta and the Hiperglobal webpage as well display the ears in pale and ordered per fess, flanking the fleur-de-lis.
