It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain red field.

Shield Argent, a triple mount issuant Vert, charged with a barn's fassade Argent flanked by two pickaxes Argent bladed Or, in chief two twigs of aoak Gules with acorns Or ordered per fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "DEM - CAMINHA".
