Coat of arms

Shield Argent with base wavy of Argent and Azure; issuant from base a valley Vert; in chief a rabbit Sable sejant sable, eyed Gules. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "VALE DE COELHA" .
Meaning:
The commune's name means "valley of the (she-)rabbit". Valley and rabbit are thus canting elements.
