Flag adopted 29 January 1990
Blue flag with a white scandinavian cross formy with concave sides. The ends of the cross touch the flag's sides, and its vertical axis is offset from the hoist 1/3 of the flag's length. Five red discs, one on the centre and each end of the cross.
The flag is a rotated banner of the arms (blazoned Azure, a latin cross formy Argent, debruised by five torteaux [or roundels Gules]). The cross represents the famous Cross of Vilabertran, a 14th century jewelry masterpiece. Flag adopted 29th January 1990. Source for image and text: Fluvià 2001.
